How to get child custody after mutual divorce

i got mutual divorce in USA. my husband took child custody of our 2year old girl child. after 4years now he return back to India and got second marriage. Now how can i get my child custody with me. please advice me.

It isn't clear whether your husband got child custody of your daughter through a court order or by a mutual understanding between you both. You can seek in the court for custody of your daughter citing the second marriage of your husband as reason.
