Hello wife and children cannot claim maintenance from the parents of deceased husband. Child can claim for the property of her deceased father as legal heir if any. Child can only claim property of any of the grandparent only when respective grand parent died as property vto child becomes ancestral. Further you can discuss with more details for proper advice.
