Child custody in case of mother's death during delivery

02-Sep-2023 (In Child Custody Law)
I am currently carrying and I do not want my husband to be in charge of the baby in case of my death. Is there a way to sign a legal document with child custody being given to a friend and her husband with their approval? My friend is willing to take care of the child in case of my death. Does my husband also need to be made aware of this deal?

As the child is of both mother and father the father also has equal rights but yes if the father is causing or likely to cause any problem to the child then you can file a domestic violence case and get order not to take away the custody and ask your friend to keep the custody of child and let the court decide about its further custody of well being. or you both have to give the child in adoption to your friend,
