Hi, i took a personal loan from a bank for 5lakh and from last 2 year i did not make any payment, now they have filed sec138 on me as I gave them 4 blank chqs, i also got summon from court but my family did not accpt those stating that i don't live wth thm coz i got married, what would happen if my family has not accepted those summons, can they put me in jain by issuing warrnt or do I have to go to court on my hearing even my parents don't accept the summon
Hi, it is advisable to appear in the court on the date mentioned in the summons..It is a bailable offence , therefore you will get the bail and join the trial ..Also if you will not appear you will be declared as a proclaimed offender by court and a additional FIR shall be registered against you in this regard

If summon has been issued against you and you are absconding summons than court will issue bailable warrant against you. In that case police will produce you before the Court. Court may fine on you double of the amount of cheque and you may sentenced upto 2 years or both.
