Case Status is Summons: Next options available
17-Jan-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have filed a cheque bounce case in Magistrate court and next hearing is on February 1st. Accused has not responsed to Notices nor none his legal representatives were present on the first day in the court. He is well aware of the proceedings and If he keeps absonding from court proceedings, what are the optins available to me:
Are there any options available to get him arrested? or
Are there any options available for requesting default judgment? or
Any alternatives to recover my money from accused in short time.
Out of 7 bounce cheques, only 1 have been filed (which has the highest amount).
Can there be any type of sanctions on his PAN number so that others should not be undegoing the situation I am in as he is a habitual defaulter.
Dear Sir,
First get Court notices served on the Accused through the help of local police and get serve the notice. Even then if he did not take bail then Court will issue arrest warrant. If the accused has any immovable properties then you can file civil suit and get the properties attached.
