138 Case Not filed within 15 days after lifting lockdown

25-Mar-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
My lawyer was supposed to file a cheque bounce case(notice to other party sent and no response received) on or before March19,2020 and he has not done that and lockdown came for around 6-7 months . After lifting of lockdown, the case is not filed in 15 days . Now, is it possible to file the case using the same cheque ?. Will there be additional court charges? My lawyer purposefully says, " cheque is missing" , you can put any other cheque if you have for clearing. Need advise please .

Oh my God.... If original cheque is missing and the same was lost by your lawyer then he is responsible. Case can be filed based on copy of the cheque and original return memo from the bank. I need further details of your case.
