Knowing what can be done if there is a case against me

Hi, I am an entrepreneur and have a startup. Recently, I worked with a serial investor and consultant after a company, that I operated, went down. He helped me financially, professionally and promised the world to me - that he will help me open a new company and draw investments for it and help it get clients for business. There was no paperwork done. He asked me to trust me, given his stature I did. Soon things did not go the way I wanted and the paperwork for the company did not happen. He started giving me his own assignments and paid a salary of 30k per month while I told him that I need aa certain amount to balance my monthly finances. He developed a website and told me to operate and get business while doing the internal assignments. He promised a % payment from the assignments I was getting payable at 10%. The company he promised for the website he made never got registered and my network kept asking me to provide my company details for billing.There is more to this
