What to do if gurranter is a homemaker

My father has taken loan from SBI bank. But he has died now . The bank is asking the garrantor to pay the full amount. But the garrantor is insisting on paying his mortgage value bcoz he is a housewife with no income or any other property to sell off and pay the loan. Want to about the credentials of my case
A moratorium based on your income can be taken on the schedule repayment on the property. If I can know further details I can advice and execute it further. An injunction based on humanitarian grounds can also be prayed for from the Hon'ble High court
