Want to get compensation from bank what to do
29-May-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
I am a business man does bussiness of metal scrap. Earlier on I was doing business on saving account and did not have any invoice /bill to customer. But now it has become difficult because Many of my customers refuse to make deal without a current account. So I went to a bank and asked them to open my current account. But bank refused to open as I did not have any business in operation. I am having GST no and shop and establishment certificate. Moreover, I lost an order because of not having current account. Can I sue bank to claim compensation for not opening bank current account.
You are saying that you have a GST Registration then whether you did not said to bank that you have GST and Shop and Establishment number. They will not refuse open a current account if you provide them these documents otherwise take our number and visit bank again and when they again refuse then call us on same time.
