Unauthorised withdrawal of Pension

Hi, Please let me know if Bank can take any legal action for unauthorized withdrawal of pension from my dad's account. It happened for 8 months from June 2016 to January 2017 post which I immediately did NEFT and transferred all the money back to his account. He passed away in May 2016 and I deposited the money back in June 2017. I am about to inform the bank about his passing away in few days. Pls guide..bit scared :(
Unauthorisely withdrawal of money knowingly or unknowingly from the another person's Bank Account is one of the Civil as well as Criminal offence, which can be punished by law and if that person (Account Holder) is died and then also it knowingly withdrawal of money by his Bank Account is a serious offence.
Now you do not inform the Bank, if another Legal Heir or Nominee is their, directly make an application for through survival to allow to withdraw money and to close his account as he died and submit a death certificate.
If any issue is getting created then only heed to the question.
