Regarding inability to pay emi of personal loan finance

My father took a personal loan of rs 19lakhs for my college education. In 2017 he had a brain haemorrhage attack and that led to his speech impediment and paraysis of his right side of body. He was an associate professor in a university but due to his medical leave salary has been halved and now going to be stopped from coming months. Hdfc has sent us a legal letter demanding mone. Loan amount remaining is 16lakhs. Our financial condition is not good to pay the emi of loan hence kindly advise in this situation.
You shall send them a legal notice asking them to refrain from using any illegal way and ask them to settle the dispute amicably.
You shall ask them to meet and also tell about your condition.

harsh ji as I have read Ur problem in this condition when Ur financial condition got damaged due to your father health got effected due to paralysis. on his right side of the body . so the bank is asking the amount of the loan which is to be paid the overall loan amount was 17 lakh and remaining amount is 16 lakh so in this condition you have to go through legal way that's only the way. save urself
