Regarding agreement Rent Advance problem .

I was planning to rent a shop. one of my colleague/known person (Sunil Kumar) told me he knows a person who is renting his shop he can help I told him ok. he asked me for an advance cheque of 11000 in the name of the (owner/Sameer) so I gave him for the agreement. but till the date, they didn't provide me rent agreement . and I came to know that Sunil had some outstanding with the person so he settled that outstanding with my advance cheque,

In this scenario, you can sue Sunil for cheating, fraud and misrepresentation along with criminal breach of trust. A police complaint may also be made to this effect. Further and better particulars are needed for an effective opinion.

You should send a legal notice to the owner of shop asking them to return your money or else they shall be liable for the same. The legal notice will mention all your averments Regards Madhav Nanda Advocate

Query perused. I would advise you to file a police complaint with the concerned police station against Sunil Kumar and Sameer for cheating and duping you of Rs 11000. Would further advise you to follow up for FIR. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.
