Loan amount recovery if not proper documentation

I gave the money (30K) to one of my relative in June 2015. He promises to return me in a couple of months. I remind him after 2 years that and same reply again. Now I am calling him and he promises again and then no return from last 6 month now. He again making excuse again and not returning.
While giving money I have not taken any doc sign from him and only some communication on what'sup I have.
Please let me know what I can do in that case. What legal option left for me.

You shall send a proper legal cum demand notice asking him to return your money. in case he fails to do so, you shall file a recovery suit against him. Whatever documents and conversation you have, you can make them your evidence.
