Legal remedy as inability to pay credit card bills since two months

I have been holding Hdfc credit card for last 3 years but due to job loss I am unable to pay bill for last two months, please let me know consequences and over come from that?
1. You need to issue legal notice to credit card division asking for more time to repay the outstanding due to job loss.
2. You may face harassment by recovery agents.
3. Your cibil score could go down as and when you stop making payment towards card. So, Once you receive any lumsun payment, settle the account with bank.
