Legal procedure to get back money paid to a single entity chit fund

Dear Sir, I had been paying montly installement for chit fund, I march i had some critical financial crises so i called off chit amount, since 35 days he has paid a very small partial amount and now he not at all answering my calls, neither he is in town. based on this amount i had made a lot of commitments and now suffering badly. i dont know what to do as this chit fund is run by a single entity and not a registered firm. How can i get my money back. Details Chit Start month - August 2018 Total Tenure - 20 Months Total Chit amount - 5 Lakhs Self claimed chit month - March 2018

1. Even if your chit fund not registered, since there was cheating happened you can register police compliant against the person for cheating and criminal breach of trust.

2. In case police do not register FIR then you can approach court through a lawyer to get order for the police to register FIR .
