Inability to pay Credit Card due to unemployment......................

Hi,
I have some credit card overdue for sometime. I don't have a job for sometime and due to which I am unable to pay my minimum amount due as well for last couple of months.
What action bank can take in this situation. ? What can I do to get it defer for sometime or settle on low EMI.

Kindly reach out the concerned Bank Officers for surrendering the Credit Card and also arriving at a settlement for payment installments of smaller amounts by way of post dated cheques. There is also an option to have the outstanding amount of debt converted into a term / property loan by providing security to the bank towards repayment of the same.
