How to respond to debt recovery case

We got a letter from one lawyer of my city which states that we have borrowed money from Someone and they asked us to refund money or either reply within 15 days.whereas there is no such thing like that. We have never borrowed money from that person and we are sure that he dont have any proof of this,not even a single call.That person is our rival and he is doing this to harras us. What should we do further???

Hello,

Reply to that legal notice promptly and go and lodge an FIR against the saud person saying that by such means the other person is trying to harass you. That is the only way probably that will help you right now.

You should reply the Demand Notice stating the fact that there is no due or any financial transaction between you the parties and should ask him to withdraw his notice and should claim a substantial amount for your hurasment.
