How to recover money from fathers account after his death ?

Respected Sir, My name is  I am the only son of Late. I reside at Kharagpur in West Bengal state. My father used to work at ITI in Barbil city of Orissa. My father expired during his job in the year 2000. My father had money in State Bank of India Bank of Puri in Odisha state and now how can he recover the money. My financial situation is very bad. Due to this I was not able to finish my studies. My improper qualification I have not being able to find a job. Therefore my sincere submission is that if you please help, then it will be very beneficial. I would be able to continue my study and acquire a better job, so that I may improve my financial condition and have the basic requirement. I will be greatly obliged if you provide me the necessary help. Thanking you, Your's faithfully,

Sir,
You need to first file an application in the bank in which your father had an account. Provide bank with his death certificate and your details being his natural heir they would transfer his account to your name.
