How to recover money from account of deceased uncle

1.My uncle had fixed deposit in varansi bank in his name(single name). He passed away leaving a will stating to give all property to me but it does not have any banks name in it. Now how to transfer that fix deposit in my name. what is the procedure. 2. i am in pune can i get successtion certificate in pune or from varanasi. Need advice. How much does it cost. i need answer for 2 quires asked.
Dear first of all u have to apply for succession cert. From civil court of your area. The will which your uncle made will be helpful in preparing succ. Cer. It will guide the court. After receiving succ. Cert. You just go to your bank and apply according to the procedure.
