How to deal with a pending debt in a chit fund

My grandfather has taken chit fund but he got retired and unable to pay. Now he is harassing and my grandfather is old and in a lot of tension. We are not saying we will not pay but every month slowly we will pay. Kindly advice.
Hi, You can send legal notice asking for more time to repay the debt. If you feel that harassment goes to stoop level then you may file criminal complaint against the recovery agents involve in this matter.
