Got some money in my Bhim account from unknown person, what to do

I would like to know that what should i do.. as i got some money in my account via BHIM app from some unknown persons account. As i have not done anything fraud..they sent money by there own . So i wnat to knw is there will be any problem to me in future. What i have to do with this money apart from giving back?? Help plz
This is certainly a grey area. I wish you had mentioned if the amount is very large. Would suggest you don't spend the money. Initially, try to contact the app customer care for a resolution. Depending on the response, a strategy can be worked out. The fact that you have reported the remittance will work in your favour in the event a case for money laundering is made out later.

ask your bank to give the narration of that particular bhim app transaction. This will help you know the source account from where the money was transferred. Once you know the transferors bank details it can be easily established as why the money was sent to your account
