Gave cheque without date to friend he didnt deposit it december

Sir i given cheque to friend n date not mentioned on cheque w alredy dicuss he ll depo cheque in december but he depo now n treating m h ll send to me in jail what can i do?
First of all, for what purpose you have issued a cheque to your friend, mean reason for making him payment? You can ask him to return that cheque and issue him a fresh cheque with December date.
