Fraud case by an employee of post office what to do

Sir i gave 2,50,000 Rs. To a post office employee for FD. He gave me reciepts back... But today I found that these reciepts are fake and that officer has suicided.. Now how can i recover my money back ?? He has done the same fraud with other people too ..
Since that person has died , no criminal case can be filed. however, you can file a case against p.o alleging principal master relation and also recovery suit against the legal heirs of the deceased agent (though its lengthy process).
