Cheated by OlX user for 5000 rs as he gives discount on dio bike.

Hi sir,
i have cheated by OLX User, as he was selling show room bikes on discounted price. Hence he asked me to transfer the 5k as booking amount. After that, now he is not returning my money back as he has not given me bike. i approached my bank, they said you need to contact, that person and get it back the amount. i contacted, the bank for where his account was there, even they said they can nt do anything. Should i go to police and file a complaint or how it can be get that money back. Please suggest.
