Bank change my EMI and increase EMI from 6700 rupees to 7000 rupees without my consent because of RB
01-May-2023 (In Banking / Finance Law)
Bank change my EMI and increase EMI from 6700 rupees to 7000 rupees without my consent because of RBI Moratorium for loan. Even i payed 6700 rupees EMI already as per schedule. But now they charge 2% as i had pay 6700 rs instead of 7000. What should i do as i haven't opt for RBI Moratorium loan and paying regularly my EMI.
hello from your query it appears that you have not opted for the moratorium period as per RBI guidelines and you continued to pay your EMI as per the amortisation schedule. In this case at first instance you should write to the bank that you did not opt for the moratorium and paid EMI timely therefore bank should recall the letter stating demand of additional amount and restore EMI to 6700 as per previous schedule. if still dispute is not resolved send a legal notice through lawyer and invoke your rights.
