Bank Account Closure Procedure

Dear Sir/Madam, My father passed away and my mother willing to close my father's bank account in India. We have Legal Heir Certificate and the current situation, some of the legal heir's lives outside the country. What are the documentation and procedure to be followed to close the bank account? If the bank account has nominee then give an application for closure of account along with death certificate and legal heir certificate. some times the bank may ask for succession certificate from the court, then you must produce the succession certificate from the court by paying the proper court fee for the amount you seek from the bank.
