Securing Anticipatory Bail is absolutely essential else accused would be arrested, after securing bail quashing of FIR is an option to permanently be exonerated from the proceedings. Outcome of both proceedings can only be determined after scrutinising the allegations in the FIR and any other proceedings if initiated by the wife.
