My divorce case is pending in family court meanwhile my wife gave complaint in TN state commission for maintenance and to handover her jwels. I appeared in direct and gave explanation that i am wishing to resolve it via court. Still they have forwarded the complaint to local police station and they have called me to enquiry. I have asked 10 days time to appear and sent my lawyer to tell this in person as I am out of town still they have sent crpc160 to appear next day. I have applied anticipatory bail and after the trail my lawyer is informing me that judge asked me to attend the enquiry and kept the case pending for next week. My lawyer forcing me to appear in police station ASAP.
Will I be arrested. Is my lawyer telling the truth. Why i did not get AB for this issue.
In this case, I would like to know complaint only for return of articles means you can appear with your lawyer and say the details of facts and it's mandatory for preliminary Inquiry by police because complaint given by any person it's duty of police.
