Q: My ex gf says she's filing a case again of false promises of marriage

I met my ex gf through social media and on the first day of meeting itself we become physical (s*x), that to was initiated by her. She is 4 years older to me and a divorcee. Later after a week we met again got physical and next day she proposed me to be into a relation with her as her bf. We got into the relationship and had physical relation multiple times. I was jobless at that time. She use to spend her money on me even after repeatedly insisting not to do so because I was jobless ( I have text proofs). Out of sheer love I even told her indirectly on text that I will marry her. After 8 months I broke up with her due to some changes I saw in her nature. Also when we entered into relation she was not working. Now she has send me a legal notice that she will lodge a complaint of false promise of marriage and also demanded 10 lakh as compensation. ( Also I believe I don't have a rigid proof of get physical on our first meeting ). She has also send a letter to commissioner.

Advocate Vikas Surve answered
I have read your story. it seems that she has already made complaint to commissioner. And there is chance of registering FIR against you. police may take cognizance of her complaint and may register case of rape against you. so you should me more careful against her
