Q: What to do if DDA claims our house as their land

we have a house inherited after death of my Maternal Grand father (Nana ji). this land was in his possession from 1944-45. in 1985 Gramsabha filled a case that this land located in khasra no. 6 belong to it, court decided in my grand father's favour and nothing happend after that. later gramsabha gave nearby land to DDA and now DDA says this land belong to them it is is in khasra no.7. So now our document say khasra no. 6 but somehow this was not updated in land records and govt. records say it is 7. maybe khasra no. was wrongly mentioned in case in 1985. but this land is with us since 1944-45 and in 1985 court settled the case too. but don't know what to do now.

Advocate Varun K Chopra answered
you would have to file a writ petition in the delhi high court seeking apt remedy under article 226 of the constitution of inida, alongwith the same you would also have to file a stay to protect you from dispossession

In case an appeal is not possible, what other legal recourse is available?
