Sir I worked for a company which gave me workload of 4days but on 3rd their website address lost i couldn\'t find them. They didn\'t even contacted me. \nAfter 4 days a lawyer called me that I am liable of aggreement defaulter charges and will be ban for 3yr for applying job. \nThey asked 32000 for settling the case but I had only 18000 so I paid them. \nThen I said that my time is up. And I have to pay 99000 in court. Sir please help my career is being ruined.

As per the understanding of your query you would be liable to work on the workload of 4 days and the website on which you were supposed to work went down on your 3rd date. Under what clause of the agreement between you and the company, you were held liable to pay them the damages/compensation??Regards

Q: last wages to dependent of deceased employee under section 17B of IDA
my husband was illegally terminated by vijaya bank in 1998 & CAT has ordered his reinstatement but case is still pending in high court for final judgement.my husband was getting last wages till his death in dec 2022 under section 17 B of industrial dispute act.i m only her legal heir and now bank has stopped me paying wages after his death in spite of sending many reminders to bank.kindly confirm whether i have right to claim last wages after my husband death or not as per above law
