Q: What is the procedure to marry an American citizen

Hello, I am a 22 years old woman and I am in love with a guy who is an American and in Military. He is visiting me next month and wants to marry me. I want to ask the entire procedure of a legal marriage in this case. Like, what's the first step and how much time it will take, and the requirements and such. Please help me out.

primarily i wish to know for how much time he is going to stay in india then the guy has to obtain the certificate with regard to his marital status and for the same of marriage we require pasports date of birth certificates and proof of residence and it will consume around one week

Q: On what grounds can I file for divorce under Special marriage Act

Hi All, Its been a year now that I am married and I have my parents stay with me but my wife don't want to live with my parents as per her she don't like my mom and dad and she wanna stay alone and even though the kind of behaviour she have is very difficult to adjust we are at the level that we don't talk to each other and on small small things we fight she also abuse my parents some time and she want me to convert into christian as she is christian and I am Hindu. So please tell me the parameters for the filing a divorce in this situation

you can invoke the jurisdiction of family courts and file a divorce petition on the ground of cruelty if you have been married atleast one year ago and she cannot force you to convert and one thing more was it a wedding as per hindu rites or christan rites and there would be a small change in the procdure but the grounds shall remain same

Q: can i file a case against the girl for putting false Dowry Case?

my wife has put a false case of DV and Dowry against me. it is false can i put a reverse case against them for filing these cases against me

No in case your wife has instituted a false cases you shall have to defend yourself and when you succed in proving the cases to be false then only you can prosecute her for instituting false cases

Q: Registered marriage but never stayed together.can marriage be revoked?

i married a girl some time back. we had a registered marriage. we never stayed together as well. that girl got married later to some one else. now i am getting a Govt job i am confused that what should i write in the relationship status married or single? what should i do. the girl is married to someone else now and i am single

Fine enough the marriage cannot be revoked on any count and the marriage remains in existense and in your particular case if your wife has married some other guy it sounds to be as if she will never claim about marriage so you can make a mention that you are single and other wise marriage can be dissolved by divorce only

Q: Can i get divorce on the bases of fraud from wife and not pay alimony

I have been married for 2 and half years now. my wife made marriage on the bases of fraud. she told me that she is 1and half year elder then me, but she is 10 year old. Now I'm 30Years old and she is 40+ when i Asking about her educational document she told me that all are misplaced when all this fraud raveled. she make dispute in family and blamed my family member instead of me. she is not living with me last 6 month. she does not want kids. can I take divorce my wife on grounds of fraud . What is the procedure for doing the same? , I do not want to pay alimony, is it possible.

You can file a divorce petition on the groun of cruelty deprivation coupled with playing calculated fraud and that of misleading statements by you r wife and your inlaws and it wont be possible to avoid alimony
