Q: Daughters get equal share in deceased father's self acquired property

My father pasted last yr, we are reddys.As a daughter can i get share in my fathers property along with my brother,my mother was not willing to give any kind of share can i file d case?

daughter becomes coparceners by birth in her own right the same manner as the son. Hence daughter is entitled equal share in the father's property if father dies without writing any documents in respect of the property.

Q: Daughters right over grandfather property

Hi we have some grandfather property am the only daughter of my father.did i have right on grandfather property? some body is saying only grandsons have right on them is it true,my father is not alive he has expired on 2013.here grand sons mean my father brother's son ,some of them are not caring to my grand mother who is alive

Q: Purchased house two days before registration court put stay over it

I have purchased a house from an individial recently without knowing that the owner of the house is in debt to someone, who filed a case against the owner which inturn court issued a stay on his properties not to sell to anyone two days before the house registration is done on my name. Owner of the house did not revelaed the information regarding court stay and made agreement with me before the court order. Now I have received a notice from court regarding the registration. Will there be a problem for me legally? Please walk me through the process on how to deal with this issue. Religion: Hindu Thanks

If the stay was granted by the court before the registration there is a problem for you. Any how the Court issued the notice to you, file written statement and contest the suit. If your vendor losses the your sale deed becomes void.

Q: Purchased property from 3rd person notary for it is required or not

when you purchase a property from third party you should verify all the link documents and before purchase the said property, when you are paying part sale consideration you should enter an agreement on Rs. 100 with terms, when you are paying full consideration you should enter registered sale deed. Notary is optional, you can notarize the agreement of sale.

Q: Rights of daughter in the ancestral property

Hi, A person (A) acquires a property through partition along with his brother (B), from his father (C). His father (C) acquires the same property from his father (D). Now Person (A) died in 1997, without leaving any will. This person (A) has a son (E) and a daughter (E) now alive. Daughter (E) got married in the year 1976 and already provided a sworn affidavit and notary in favor of Son (E) in 1997. Now, this property is under name of Son (E) as per andhra pradesh municipal records. Son (E) is paying all the taxes until today under his name. Although, daughter already signed, she came and asks for share. Does daughter have any share on this property? Thanks.

Father A Died in the year 1997 before the Hindu succession amendment Act 2005, The daughter not filed any suit for partition before 2005 when the father was alive. Now after amendment act 2005, when father dies before the 2005 she is not entitled any share in the property. If father dies after 2005 she is entitle for her share in the fathers property.
