Dishonor of Cheque is an offence under Section 138 of NI Act and it is compoundable and you can settle it mutually with the person to whom you husband had give the alleged Cheque and there is no harm to your husband job



Q: What is the procedure to change name in property documents

My father Buyed a house in 2002 on my name and I am minor at that time so my father stood as a guardian in that document and now the thing is the surname of mine and my father in those documents were wrong since that is the name which was called by the local people but the original name is different. Surname in document: "CHETTUKINDA" Actual Surname: "SANIKOMMA" Now the person who sold to us was expired. So, please help us with the procedure how to change the name in the document so that I now as a major will have the actual rights.

you may add your name in future documents as "Chettukinda @ Sanikomma". As the person who executed the said document died you have no other option except mentioned the name as above or you should approach the concerned District Collector by way of application for change of name.

After death of the owner of the property the said property shall devolves on the Class I legal heirs as per Hindu Sucerssion Act and dughter is a Class I legal heir and it is subject to any Testementry dcouments made by owner if ay priod to his/her death.
