Hi All,I am from Delhi, and applied for Marriage Certificate via Delhi DISTRICT portal. I want to confirm if the parents from groom side can acts as the two witness required for the certificate.I am kind of confused as I have been told that the witness shouldn't bear the same address as the groom.

yes the groom's parents can act as the witness even if they have the same residence address. I can assure you about the marriage part and Delhi district court does not consider the address as one of the lacuna

There was this guy whom I liked and he was in some sorta trouble and in need of money so I lent him... he did exercise undue influence over me... he gave me a date to repay back but he failed so I said that I'll sue him... so he started blackmailing me that he'll disclose the private chats to my Dad Then I went to the cops and file a complaint against him But cops can't help to recover the sum instead they can take the criminal actions against him what should I do.

if you have the present address of the person then you can file a suit for recovery of money and get the amount back. prior to that it is suggested that send him a legal notice for the same so that there is a reply by him regarding the assurance. Criminal action can be taken by the police but recovery of amount can be done by the courts only
Q: Fake allegations of theft on my 8 year old boy and my wife by group.
Few year ago a neighbour in our building imposed fake allegations of theft on my wife I asked husband but he didn't responded. After that I insisted my wife to not to entertain him. After that now three ladies and there husband making same fake allegations of theft on my 8 year old child and my wife. I asked them one by one but no one provided me any evidence they are telling different versions of theft. One of the husband also tried to flirt with my wife and there children spreading rumour.

Has any FIR being filed for the theft because of no FIR is being filed then legally there is no problem however if you feel that false allegation are being made then it is advisable to file an FIR against the persons and bring them to the court for proper treatment

please be assured that such a kind of threat is only a threat and revealing the identity does not amount to any legal problems. anyways if you wish you can file a criminal complaint against the person and tell her that her identity will be revealed in the court for blackmailing you and God knows how may onthers
