Q: How to quash credit card case for non payment of the dues

I was using sbi credit card in past. i was not able to make the payment from last 4 months as i was going through financial crises and i lost my job l. last friday i received letter from lok aadlat case is registered against me from sbi bank fir amount recovery. i will start making the payment from next month as i got job this month and next month i will receive salary. please advise what can be done as i don't want to get i to any legal case and all.

Visit lol adalat and give in affidavit that you will pay the amount back in couple of months and assure them about it. Also you can strike a settlement with the bank in which they will ask for a lump sum payment which you have to pay to the bank.

Q: How to settle debt which is due from my end to the bank

Dear Sir, Please guide me & help me, I have personal loans of Rs 2lakhs from HDFC bank(71000) and Bajaj Finance (145000) & credit cards outstanding from 4 banks of Rs. 9 lacs. From last 6 months I am unable to pay. Now I want to settle the dues one by one. Please help. I have also sent a request mail through legal advice app. Regards

First of all you need to tell the banks about your financial condition through a letter or mail. Send them your representation telling about your condition to be unable to pay the amount. Ask them to fix a meeting at their office and fix a specific date for the same.

Q: Claim in father's bank account with uncle nominee

My father made his brother nominee in his saving bank account. After his death in Oct.17 he(my uncle) took all money from his account. Do I or my mother have any right on that money? Can I claim that money inspite that my chacha is the nominee in the bank account.

In absence of a will you and your mother have legal right over all the money and property left by your father. Also if you take anything from your father then you shall also be liable for any debts which he owe to others. For a detailed answer kindly contact me via lawrato.

Q: Legal action against the bank authorities for not taking proper action

Hello, 2016 August, my SBI credit card was remotely used by someone, to withdraw cash from an ATM. But the card was with me and i was in my office. Receiving the sms alert i called he customer care and reported it and got my card blocked. They had promised to look into the matter and issued me a new card. But they have not done any concrete steps and now they are calling me repeatedly to bear the expenses of the transaction and the associated interest rate. I have repeatedly tried to explain to them that as i have not made the transaction, why are they forcing me to pay? And inspite of reporting at once, they are just pressing me to make the payment. Please advice.

You can file this matter in the District Consumer Forum. There are many banks who do the same thing and thus harass the customers. I am dealing with many such matters. Consumer forum might take some time but you will surely get the relief you want. All the best.
