If a will is not registered is it valid

sir my grandfater as left a will for me .The will is not registered but its valid documentation wit two witness including my grandfathers tumb sign and witness uid under notary certification.my uncle has claimed for varshana in nagod court . Now if i claimed my will wit witness then preference is given to whom my will or that varshana.And how i claimed my will

The primary aspect of a WILL to be legally valid is 2 persons attesting witness to the will when the testator signs in their presence. When only one person has signed as witness then it is not a valid Will. Will need not be registered. A will which is not registered is valid if it is signed by two attesting witnesses.
