Does my step mother have a claim to my fathers inherited property

20-Feb-2023 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
So grandfather left his property to my father. My father got remarried a couple of years ago but he wants to leave this property to me, his son. Can my step mother and step sister have a claim in this property even if he leaves it in his will to me. Specially if the step mother has property of her own.

If your grandfather left his self earned property to your father then your father is the sole owner of such property. Now your father can give su h property to you and to any person whether such person is in blood relation or not. He is the sole owner and can dispose such property by any instrument ie deed or will. But will can only execute after your father and in his life time he can change his will at any number of time. And if he give such property in deed then his interset in such property will come to end.and in such case now the deed owner will be sole owner and no person can claim.any interst in such property.
