Non payment of Service tax since 2013

16-Aug-2023 (In Tax Law)
I have not paid service tax since the year 2013 due to severe financial problems. I am in heavy debts along with my company. For the past few months my client has been paying 100% service tax as the new rule was implemented. My client is now asking me to give them the acknowledgements for service tax paid since 2013 for audit purpose. But I have not paid and hence do not have. What should I tell them and how do i clear the dues. Is it possible to pay it in installments?

In that case you are liable to file service tax return and have to pay tax amount with interest as penalty till the date you are depositing the tax challan. Interest would be @ 15% if the amount below 60k otherwise the rate would be increased by 18 %. feel free to ask for any tax assistance.
