Information about any SLP that has /had been filed against us

12-Aug-2023 (In Supreme Court Law)
We have won a case in our favour in HC bench 3months back.. The opp party said that we would be filling an SLP in the Supreme Court 1 month back.. We are not sure as to what happened to the SLP filed by them as we have not yet received any notification. My question is whether filling a kaveat would tell us whether the SLP had been dismissed /admitted, how long & how much would it cost me to do it & what are the documents I need to file a kaveat in supreme court?

Hi,

Caveat is an application to be filed by a party in a Court and the same should be should be filed before the other party approaching the said Court with a Suit/Appeal etc. In otherwords, Caveat is to be filed in anticipation of a proceedings. If SLP is filed and if it is admitted then you will receive notice from the Court registry but if it is dismissed on admission then you will not receive any information as the order of the High Court is confirmed as soon as the SLP is dismissed. Please contact if you need to discuss in detail.
