Employment on Compassionate grounds after 20 years of death

My father i central government employee passed away in 1998. No one in my family took a job on compassionate ground till now, i was very young at that time. My question is whether i am entitled to a job on compassionate grounds nnow after 20 years

As the query raised by you is for 20 long years after n now you are seeking the benefits of your father services from the govt. After his death.

You should try to get employment by appraoching relevant authourities [ on some grounds such as financial hardship ] and try to gain their goodwill and preferably not apply to courts because courts may result in undue delay and because of the following...In Phoolwati vs UOI [1991 ] it was held ' The fact that the ward was minor at the time of death of his father is no grounds , unless the section itself envisage specifically otherwise , to state that as and when such a minor becomes a major he can be appointed without any time limit .'
