Laws which governs the professionals of one field does not necessarily govern those who wanted to venture out in their field as a support to these professional.

So medical laws are not going to govern your start up in any possible way as they are strictly for those who are professing in the field of medicine.

As far as other guidelines under legal domain is considered then you are suppose to comply to following laws in a broad specific manner -
- Contract laws,
- Corporate laws,
- Cyber and IT laws,
- Employment laws, and
- Press laws (in case it is you who intends to publish these medical journals and magazines).

Rest I will be able detail out on a pin point basis if you come along to discuss the whole agenda of your business on papers across a table.

You want to get into tele medicine. We do not have telemedicine laws per se as if date, however, as per the Medical Council of India rules, only doctors registered in India can enroll with you for this kind of business model. Secondly, all information and data that will be exchanged with patients must complyricrly with the data privacy rules of the IT Act. Thirdly, the drugs and cosmetics act has stringent rules for medical prescriptions. It will be little impractical to adhere with those for the model that you are proposing here. Fourthly, the terms of your e-model will have to be staged very carefully to take care of liability aspects. I need to understand your model in little more detail to advise you further.

One question- The journals will be for personal consumption of the doctors or there will be an angle of advertisement of doctor's professional services to it?

Have a great day!
