Is it required to take license for providing appointment for doctors

28-Jun-2023 (In Startup Law)
Hi Sir/madam, We are a e-commerce startup who provide online medical services. Based on the customer appointment, we send doctors or nurses who are on our payroll for medical checkup, medication, administering injections or vaccination. We don't stock any medicines. We procure the medicines based on bookings on need basis. I wanted to know if we need any type of medical or any other license for central or state govt to provide such online services. Thanks in advance for your help.

Since you have doctors and nurses on your payroll, you are not a mere online marketplace connecting individuals but you're in the active business just like a hospital. The procurement of medicines does not affect your business as you are not manufacturing it, but just supplying it. So for that aspect you are like a pharmacy. Since you have employed doctors and nurses (paying salary to them and hence 'employed'), license may be required.
