Clarification on license to begin a startup business

We want to start a business which will include two partners.to start business license should be with the name of both the partnerss or a single partner

Since the new business consists of two partners, it is likely that you would be registered as a partnership firm/LLP/private limited company. In all such cases, licenses would be obtained in the name of the concerned firm/LLP/company. In the case of a partnership firm, it may be necessary that one of the partners represents the firm in the license.
