Can i apply for VAT for online business through my residential address

I am running an online store of jewelry. I want to obtain VAT for my business. i want to can i apply for VAT through my residential address as its an online business, i don't have as such a commercial address.

You can apply but the issue would be that commercial activities cannot be done from residential addresses. Just check if your property is of mixed use land then maybe you are able to show that you are carrying on business from the mixed land part, otherwise there will be too many hassles from VAT department. They might reject you appplication.
