Does CHS come under RTI

I want to know whether CHS come under RTI . We have a family dispute with my brother . He claims that he stays on Leave n licence in a society . We approached society and they refused having any such agreement . But the society does not want to get into personal matters . We want to know the fact of such leave n licence agreement exists .pl guide
yes co operatives are liable to give information under the RTI Act as they are also created by a statue and there are authorities above them. societies have to give you information required by you under the application of RTI Act irrespective of their personal opinions as they are formed under the provisions of law.
