Took loan from bank. Unable to pay. Recovery agents harassing us.

I have done hotel management. I tool loan from a bank in 2007. I was working in hotel and due to recession i lost my job. Still i continued pay EMI's. Later i joined one hotel and there recovery agents started to harass me and even visited my hotel and spoke to management due to which i lost my job. Again i joined another hotel and same thing happened and i lost my job again. Now so called police is coming in civilian dress and harassing me and my wife about arresting me. What can i do?
Harassment done by the recovery agents of the bank is illegal. You can complain about the same to the police and the bank. It is advisable to make audio and video recording of the harassment to strenghten your case.
Furthermore, if the police is coming in civilian dress you can ask them show their identity cards for safety purposes.
