Took loan from a person have blank cheque given by me what to do

Hi team, I asked a person loan for one lakh. I have few cibil issues going on with late payment for my education loan. To clear them i asked one lakh. He asked me to give him a signed blank cheque in return. I obliged. Now when time came for payment he said his dad is not allowing and he asked me little bit more time. As a security deposit i have paid him 25k initially. Till now i havent received a single sum of money and my cheque is with him. What could be done in this regard.
As per your query, you can order "stop payment" for that particular cheque to your bank before it comes for encashment. Once enchased, it is gone as you only issued it with signatures.
