Taken cash not able to repay how to solve this situation

I want to know if i have taken cash with someone, but at that point of time it was a partnership being done with a localite in some other place and he did fraudulent with me due to which i had settle everything and had to leave that place in order to recover my assets which valued around 1.5 lacks. but at that point of time a party gave us some amount in order to complete some items for which i took cash in hand .but as of now am not in a position to either repay them or complete there order and that party is giving me ultimatum either to comoltete the order or refund the money please suggest me in this situation what should i do. as the party is very dangerous and is strong with power. please help me with your suggestions in order to cop me up with this situation?
you need to speak to the person and ask him for some time to pay him back that you are unable to pay him right now, in case they threaten you, you can approach the police and file a complaint against them and in the presence of police you can ask them for time
