Refund of donation and fees by university at the death of the student

Hello sir my nephew had taken admission in betch computer engineering and huge donation and fees was deposited he was brilluant student wh9also placement coordibator andc150 students was placed by his effoets ...but he was murdered in campus instirute by one of the student of his class no dues or sympethically returns was given by the institutes. My nephew was 21,yrs old at this time he would earn huge salary
Sir, unless college have rules/policy you are not entitled any refund of fee and it's not clear in what capacity he was working in placement section of college and at the same time doing study, clarify it for proper answer.
